Kuwaiti by Almas Perfumes is a 100ml Eau de Parfum for men and women. Natural oud sticks give this fragrance a deep opening. Leather and tropical flowers add warmth and a soft floral contrast at the heart, before woody notes bring an earthy finish.
These names describe how much perfume oil is in the fragrance. Eau de Parfum (EDP) is a strong, popular concentration, while Extrait de Parfum (also called Parfum) is typically the most concentrated form. Concentrations vary by brand, so the same label can feel stronger from one house than another. In general, a higher concentration tends to be richer and longer-lasting, so you may need less of it.
Perfume oils are applied directly to the skin, usually with a roller or dabber, and tend to sit closer to the skin with a softer projection than sprays. Sprays are usually alcohol-based and give a stronger first impression that carries further. Only use oils intended for skin, and follow the directions on each product.
Decants are small sprays of the original fragrance, hand-filled from a full bottle, so you can try a scent before committing to the full size. Our samples come in 3ml, 5ml and 10ml.
Start with the notes you already enjoy - sweet, fresh, woody, floral or oud - and check the fragrance profile on each product page. Still deciding? Samples and gift sets are an easy, low-cost way to try a few before choosing a full bottle.
Spray onto pulse points - wrists, neck and behind the ears - from about 10-15cm away, on clean, dry skin. Let it dry naturally rather than rubbing it in.
A good starting point is two to four sprays for most Eau de Parfums, then adjust to the strength of the scent and the occasion. Rich extraits and ouds often need only one or two.
Apply to moisturised skin - an unscented lotion works well - and focus on pulse points. Fragrance tends to fade faster on dry skin. If you like to mist clothing, test on a hidden spot first, as some fragrances can mark fabric. Storing your bottle well also helps the scent stay at its best.
It varies with the concentration, the notes, your skin and even the weather, so there is no single answer. As a rough guide, an Eau de Parfum often lasts several hours, while richer base notes like oud, amber, vanilla and musk tend to linger the longest.
Yes. Skin type and body chemistry affect how a fragrance develops, so the same perfume can smell a little different from person to person. Trying a sample first is a helpful way to see how a scent wears on you.
Keep bottles somewhere cool, dry and dark - a drawer or cupboard is ideal. Heat, light and humidity can change a fragrance over time, so bathrooms and sunny shelves are best avoided. Keeping the bottle in its box gives extra protection.
Many of our fragrances are unisex, especially Middle Eastern and niche scents. We also have For Him, For Her and Unisex collections to help you browse.
